Our Mission and Objectives

Safe & Sound Derby seeks to reach out to children and young people who are being, or at risk of being, sexually exploited, by criminal practices that threaten their physical and mental well-being. We do this by: -

• Improving awareness of child sexual exploitation through targeted work with young people, parents/carers, organisations, and the wider community
• Providing direct support for children and young people identified as being, or at risk of being, sexually exploited, and their parents / carers
• Working locally, regionally, nationally and internationally to advocate for the victims of child sexual exploitation and to share good practice, knowledge and expertise
