Key Facts about Safe & Sound Derby

In 2009-2010, Safe & Sound Derby:

• Provided direct support to 127 vulnerable children and young people
• Raised awareness of Child Sexual Exploitation to 4,201 children and young people in schools and other educational settings
• Spoke with 1,238 children and young people in risky situations through outreach work
• Trained 408 practitioners working with children, young people and families on the warning signs and symptoms of Child Sexual Exploitation.
